The Ghost is a girl now, what are your thoughts

The villain for Ant-Man and The Wasp has been revealed to be The Ghost, a super villain who does corporate espionage stuff. Actually seems like a good fit for the Ant-Man franchise. Now apparently they've changed the character from male to female. Usually this stuff makes me bristle but in this situation I am pretty ok with it. It should be noted that The Ghost is a pretty minor character, hell the only time I saw him in the comics was in the early 90's, who doesn't even have an established alter ego. So at that point does it even matter if they change him to a her?
