Are new pens more reliable than vintage?
I have been using vintage pens for the last year or so. (Mostly Vacumatics) and I am continuously having leaks from the nib section and from the grips.
I am considering selling most of my vintage pens and just getting a couple new model pens. I just want great writers and have had enough fun with most of these already, but I'm sick and tired of picking up my pens and getting ink all over.
I ordered some sealant, but was wondering if anyone else has converted from Vintage to new models for this reason and if they have found it beneficial.
I know it's not possible to compare the two but I am just wondering other's experience.
