I remembered my first ever game of footy as a 5 year old ...

I kicked the ball into the net and other kids threw their arms up in the air and cheered. OMG I WAS SO PROUD AND HAPPY ....

Until loads of other angry kids came up to me yelling 'That was our own net / side'.

I hadnt actually understood that I was on a side / team, and never played football again outside of P.E. due to the crippling anxiety of letting down my first football team.
