Wolfram Alpha Pro or Mathematica help

Hi, r/college! I'm going to start my first year in my state college this fall. Since I'm an engineering student, I was suggested on a subreddit to use the services the schools provide for free. I was able to find Wolfram Mathematica but not Alpha Pro, and I was wondering if they are the same thing fundamentally? I downloaded the mathematica app but was left confused on how to use it. Do I have to get a separate Wolfram Alpha Pro subscription? Any suggestions would be great.
