T4 Exercises
Hi, I've been trying to think about exercises that could be classified as T4 lifts, in that they are in a program not so much for hypertrophy but more so for general joint/muscular health and/or to promote muscular balance, normally done with quite light weight in high rep ranges. The obvious lift that started this train of thought is the face pull, which is widely regarded as a great exercise for shoulder health and balance, but what other lifts serve this purpose? Some ideas I had are leg curls for leg balance, as typically people squat far more than they deadlift, curls for elbow health due to all the pressing people do, back extensions for lumbar spine health, push ups for scapular mobility, and maybe even overhead squats for general mobility (and maybe thoracic extension?). These exercises are to be done for quite high reps with relatively low resistance.
Any one feel like commenting on these lifts for these purposes and suggesting some other "T4" lifts? Thanks
