Can we all just agree that Muslim women (especially hijabis) suffer the brunt of Islamophobia.

Right now the top post is about the hijab wearing Muslim woman who got beaten up by the mob in Barcelona. Everytime I hear of an attack on a Muslim, whether its in Europe or India, its almost always a hijab wearing or veiled Muslim women. It baffles me whats going on the heads of these monsters that want to hurt them. On one hand they want to liberate them so much from their own religion (shame on 'Muslims' that actually support this) while on the other hand they want to hurt them. But why? To make an example out of them? As if attacking a woman isnt a pure act of cowardice. They want to control us and beat us down but they'll only go for those Muslims they've just decided are weak. Hence they go after women. It saddens me that some 'Muslims' even support these narratives. Hypocrites. My mother wears a Pakistani traditional dress with a 'dubatta' and she got nasty stares from men in the US when we visited. In one case I stepped infront of her and this guy who was leering (he looked like a crab with white hair) got scared and walked away. They dont want to deal with the 'bigger' Muslims but they'll go straight after the 'easier' ones. Yaar, that kind of cowardice just pisses me off.
