We can't give up now

The story marc (praise be upon his eternal soul) released was just a letter from gordon, with no indication that it is even the real story or just a joke. And if it is, we dont know the details of all of it, only the general idea of what went down. There's still alot more to know and experience.

If we let the demand for HL3 plummet now, there's no chance we'll get it, they wont make a game people dont want anymore. But now we know at least some storyline is in place, and as long as valve can get a dev team together, HL3 is still very much possible. Valve wont make it unless theres demand for it.

addition: reading it again, some things just plain dont add up

didnt glados have control by the time the combine took over and killed all of the humans (except ratman and ones in storage) with neurotoxin? and wasnt glados actively keeping them away? Robot staff are out of the question because glados hasnt perfected them until portal 2, possibly thousands of years later. Theres probably more inconsistencies and ill point them out as i find them
