Therapeutic ceiling?

Hi all... Time to stop being a lurker, apparently. ๐Ÿ˜

I've been taking Na for depression/anhedonia for the past 3 months. I started at 50mg/day, and have since bumped my dose up many times due to tolerance. Now I'm currently taking 150mg when I wake up and another 100mg after lunch.

I find it has a wonderful stimulating and mood-lifting effect for me that has really improved my life.

Coming here to this sub and seeing all of these horror stories is really scaring me, though. I've tried many recreational drugs in the past, but never much in terms of opiates.

So my question.... Am I flirting with the devil here? The effect I get from tianeptine is mostly a stimulant effect, I'd say. At what dose would I be in danger of developing addiction/facing withdrawal? I weigh 260 lbs, btw, if it matters in terms of mg per body mass.

Right now, I couldn't really tell you when it "wears off". My evenings are pleasant and I feel like the effects linger without feeling any kind of crash.

Thanks for any input!
