Rift not loading project cars on steam

I got my rift all set up..works thru the rift home..took about 2hr to get it to work 1 time with project cars on steam but it placed me on the back of the car and not in the seat. I exited out and now it wont load in the rift and it disabled my g920 wheel and I cannot get the rift or the g920 to work anymore. Any suggestions? running on a I7 with gtx 980TI with plenty of power!
