Any fun desktop assistant?

I pass 8 hours in front of my laptop everyday at work, so I would love to have a little and fun desktop assistant to keep me company. Is there any skin or something that you could suggest? Something like a little animal or mascotte that just chills on my screen, walks around and does something from time to time would be awesome!
