Many people already use the RuneScape authenticator to protect the RuneScape account but what many people don't do is protect their E-mail account. And this is how most people get hacked these days, they do not put 2-Step Verification on the E-mail they use for RuneScape. And what ends up happening is the hacker hacks your E-mail and recovers your account that way.
