Whatever happened to Jack Ryan movies?

We have three great movies in The Hunt for Red October(1990), Patriot Games (1992) and Clear and Present Danger (1994). All three are great spy thrillers with a league of their own compared to James Bond or Mission Impossible.

One good one in The sum of all fears (2002). And one borderline trash in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2014) with shaky cams and over the top character arcs.

They had one misstep i.e. 2014 one, but that doesn't warranty a halt. Also, there is already so much material to work with, why are they no longer making any new ones?
