Doing A2 straight from CBT

Hey,

I did my CBT about 1/2 months ago, and passed my theory yesterday, so today I called the place I passed my CBT at to discuss doing my A2 and they suggested I pay £125 to "learn the basics of a bike on a 125 for the day, then discuss the A2". They said this because I've not ridden since my CBT, but I have been driving for over a year, so the road isn't new to me.

Is this just a way to try get money from me? I'd much prefer not to essentially do my CBT again because I have no interest in buying a 125cc bike, and it seems like they just want me to pay more money before teaching me the A2 mod 1 and mod 2.

Just want your guys' input on this as people who have passed, should I look elsewhere?
