Quick question from a POE noob...

Do I want to take the time picking up EVERYTHING and warping back to sell/trade? Or should I ignore most whites and focus on leveling (level 10 right now, if that matters)? Also, is there a guide someone could recommend for people who are used to Diablo 3?
