One More Rant About The Map Pool For Ranked

I just feel like I need to get this out.

I've been here since the beta. I have more than 800 hours spent on this single game. I shouted in joy when clutching the match point for the rest of my team, yelled in rage when missing that one shot that was decisive for the game's outcome. I met a bunch of awesome people, friends now with whom I've had such a great times that we actually visit each other. I saved such great moments, that I edited in a couple of videos so that I sometimes rewatch them to make me smile when I feel down. Rainbow Six is more than a game, it's a platform all my friends and I join to have a great time. And ranked is part of it. The teamwork and concentration needed to make it work, is in itself amazing.

But one thing that is needed to keep the game fresh is content. And right now, maps. You want to make an ESL map pool ? Fine, but keep ranked as it is. You're willing to remove awesome maps such as Plane ? Or Kanal ? Or even House ? Yes they're not balanced, but teams take turn every round. And the strats, the work that went into playing these maps, are just going to vanish because... You want to make Ranked a copy of ESL plays ? I haven't ranted about Operation Health (at least not too much) I haven't said shit about the Polish map vanishing, and the new delay for Blood Orchid. But please, if you're willing enough to keep this game great, find an alternative way and keep ranked as it is.
