Is anything legitimately being said during the 'chipmunk bridge' of Hello again by The Cars?

Does anyone know if anything is actually being said (in reverse, sped up or otherwise masked) during the, what I call, 'chipmunk bridge' in the song Hello Again by The Cars? I mean.... it really sounds like manipulated human speech so they must be saying something before it was then manipulated. Anyone happen to know or have music software that can help figure it out? Check out 2:52 of the official video for that part I am talking about. What a killer song BTW! Thanks for your help!
