[Q&A] Clearing up misnamed accounts

Hey folks!

A few weeks ago my phone's screen was broken and I couldn't use it until a new one arrived. I borrowed a freinds tablet as to not be stranded on offline island.

After logging into my Telegram account on said tablet all contacts that we both shared were renamed to the names he listed them under in his adress book. Now, after exchanging the screen and returning my SIM to my old phone, the switch remains the same :< The app is still usable and I know who is who, though it is kind of weird chatting with him (named "Mine") or his girlfriend (named with a nickname and a heart) among others.

Is there a way to fix this? I.e. have Telegram reread the account names from my own phone? I thought about logging out/reinstalling but I don't want to lose my private conversations :/
