RN4 MIUI 9 OTA?

I have MIUI 8.5 stable on my Redmi Note 4, I've read that the only way for me to get MIUI9 is via Fastboot, and for that I need to unlock my bootloader first. My question is - will there be MIUI9 OTA update soon? Because, if I'm gonna unlock the bootloader, I'm gonna flash AEX or smthng, I won't even bother with MIUI9.
