QUESTION: SF AF1 vs. NMD Japan

Which shoe would you guys pick? I'm currently conflicted, mainly because I don't know if the AF1s can really be worn during the summer (probably not, I'm guessing they don't go well with shorts). I really like the AF1s, but I think the NMDs are more practical, because they can be worn with anything. So right now I'm stuck between getting one of my favorite shoes (AF1) or getting a cheaper, more practical shoe (NMD). Please help, as it'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
