What do you do if you received your gift really, really late and it won't let you post to the gallery?

I got mine quite late, after reporting no gift yet, but it ended up coming and now I can't update my exchange to say that I received it. Is there a way to fix this, I'd like my Santa to get their credit back from the exchange, since they did eventually come through.
