Odd Benefit from Keto: I can laugh again without getting dizzy! Why though?
I've been on keto for about 2 months now. Loving it. I noticed within just a few weeks of being on the diet that I can laugh hard and won't get dizzy or feel like I'm going to pass out. In fact, I got into a hard cry-type laugh earlier this week and I felt completely fine. I've been dealing with the issue for many years and I was just told it was normal as my laughter was stimulating my vagus nerve which caused drops in pulse/blood pressure. Not anymore. This is an odd benefit but I'm curious as to how a high fat/low carb diet could be affecting my nervous system in that way? I was thinking it may have something to do with my brain getting more needed fat and that somehow fixed it?
