Help buying a Student oriented 2-in-1 laptop: HP Spectre 360 (2017) vs. Lenova Yoga 910 Vs. ThinkPad X1 Yoga Vs. Microsoft Surface Pro 4???

Buying help

I have already posted an inquiry about searching for a laptop. These were my conditions:

  • Total budget and country of purchase: < $1,000 but if you can sell me on a laptop that is higher than the price, I will definitely look into it. However, ideally, I would want a laptop < $1,000.00.

  • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. I would definitely want a 2 in 1 laptop:

  • A laptop that be converted into tablet mode for note taking purposes (especially during lectures).

  • Art Friendly: Great touch screen that is sensitive to pressure of the stylus so that there are different weights of the lines drawn.

  • Long Battery Life Span

  • Great HD screen (nothing less that 1080p). I hate faded screen with too much white light emanating from it.

  • A Fast processor since like with any student, a million tabs and windows are usually opened. I despise lagging.

  • How important is weight and thinness to you? I would be fetching this beast around quite ALOT, so weight is very important. I wouldn't want anything too heavy that it causes me a hassle to heave around. I'm a bit on the weak side.

  • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. I have only used Windows. That is what I am accustomed to - not sure if that would make it a 'preference'.

  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 13"-14".

  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. A fair bit of Photoshop. I don't care for games. I do watch a lot of video content, however (Youtube, Netflix, etc). Furthermore, I will ofcourse be running Microsoft 360 package.

  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? N/A

  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Touch screen is a must of course. I desire a sturdy and durable built since I will be fetching this laptop everywhere. Basically, it will be my pet. I will be mostly typing, so, yes, a user-friendly and sturdy keyboard.

  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Thank you very much in helping me figure out which laptop to find. It is much appreciated. I have been struggling to determine a suitable laptop since I am not that tech savvy and I am quite particular yet indecisive. I need all the help and wisdom I can get from you guys.

In conclusion, I need a great valued, awesome HD screen, tablet convertible laptop that will be a university student's long lasting and trustworty sidekick.

Cheers.

So I did a hefty amount of research, and the following products caught my eye: HP Spectre x360 (2017) Lenova Yoga 910 ThinkPad X1 Yoga Microsoft Surface Pro 4

I would like a laptop that is very One Note friendly as well. It also should be noted that the Surface Pro's detachable keyboard freaks me out - it doesn't seem that sturdy? Am I wrong in that assumption?

Which of these products is most suitable to my needs in your opinion, and is basically...the best of the four? If you have another product to suggest, please do recommend - hopefully something cheaper since the products that caught my eye are all beyond my price point.

Thank you.
