AP Sticky August 25, 2017 - The Sound Exchange: Request or share sounds

The Sound Exchange

Welcome to the subreddit regular feature post for requesting and sharing sounds. There are three kinds of comments you can submit for this feature. Please use one of these tags;

• [REQ] - This is a request for a sound. Perhaps you're having trouble finding a specific sound for your project? Ask here.

• [LIB] - This is a link to a SFX library or a sound for sale. These may or may not be free and will have possible usage limitations. If this is not in response to a request, please tell us why this sound/library is of interest.

• [SHARE] - This is %100 your own creation which you are choosing to give to Reddit and the world. We thank you for it but be aware there are very strict rules to this.

Sound Sharing Rules

To avoid any legal hassles and to keep the Reddit Admin overlords happy with this, the following rules for this are MANDATORY. Any sounds you share openly here MUST

• be %100 your own creation. DO NOT share sounds recorded/created/edited by others.

• be free

• have unlimited or Creative Commons rights/usage allowing commercial use. Specify which it is in your comment.

• link to a preview

• provide file format, sample rate and bit depth info

If any of these rules are an issue, rather than post a comment, send a PM about your sound(s) to the sound requestor and be very specific about any limitations you have.
