Is Gap insurance worth it in my situation.

So I got a 2014 ford fusion titanium with 111000 miles. It cost 12875 out the door. Payed fees with cash. That was the top of what Kelly blue book said was fair. I had some baggage of a trade in so I think I did alright. My issue is I threw another grand on that for gap.

Is it worth that considering value of the car should roughly be 9k for trade. Not sure how insurance figures that but kbb said 9k for trade. Basically is 3k in negative equity worth another 1k in financing. I've never been in an accident and I drive 3 miles to work.
