Does anyone want to start a new international party that combines the best parts of different ideologies?
Communism and anarcho-capitalism are too difficult to convince people of but they each have positive aspects, social democracy is difficult for fiscal conservatives (too high taxes), the Pirate/Futurist parties don't have enough people/aren't doing enough to really reform government, and the Zeitgeist Movement/Venus Project aren't very viable since we're not yet in a post-scarcity world (we may never even reach that due to the laws of economics). I haven't done much research so I may be wrong about a few things, so if that's the case, please enlighten me. The idea I like is using the scientific method to test different social/economic programs to see what works and stick to it, like providing jobs to at-risk youth, eliminating mass-incarceration, ending the drug war, and other things. My leadership skills aren't good but I can attempt to improve them.
