Controller or keyboard?

Title. Just bought into being a founder and am unsure of which option i should go down as I have both. I'm generally trash with a keyboard and prefer the ease of a controller, but controllers sometimes have a skill cieling in games that require a lot of dexterity. Im still too new to determine if the reason I suck are my skills + input or just my skills.

Would I be shooting myself in the foot if I went the controller route or should I just learn to play on a keyboard?
