Attack move on key release?
Hey guys!
So, I currently have my attack-move-click bound to T.
Anyways, having it bound to T and all is really nice, for the most part, as an ADC main. But there's always been one little thing that bothered me more than it should, and that's the action triggering on key press and NOT key release.
This is because the vast majority of the actions bound to my keyboard (so my left hand) are set to smartcast with indicator, which means that they all trigger on key release. Having my attack-move-click be different is really throwing me off, since (like everything else) I've gotten used to things triggering on key release and not key press.
Basically, I want a way to get an attack move "click" to trigger when I release the key, not when the key is initially pressed and not with a mouse click input required. Sort of an a-click "smartcast with indicator," if you will. The actual indicator is completely unnecessary, but it would be a nice touch.
Likewise, can that process be applied to other left-hand actions? (like summoner spells, autoattack empowering abilities, auto-smartcast abilities like Karthus q or vayne tumble, ect.)
Is there a (legal/safe) way to do this?
I know that you can use programs like autohotkey for this, but I'm not sure if that's okay with the RIOT TOS. If it is, can someone let me know? And if a rioter is reading this, can this be a feature eventually?
Thanks! <3

Using AHK for this really wouldn't be an issue. Riot also has no way to see that you're doing it in the first place.
If I were you I'd Google around for any posts by Riot about AHK, but to me it seems that you'd be fine doing it
AHK is used by a lot of scripters for mini-scripts though. I'm not sure I want to risk being "caught" using the same program that ward-hop cheats and auto-combo scripts are written on.
I have precisely one rioter statement that says it's okay, but it was from two years ago..
Contrary to popular belief, Riot can't see what programs you're running on your computer. If you had attack move bound to N for example, and you were to use an AHK script that translates you releasing T into an N press, all riot would see is that you pressed attack move.
Even if they had some way of detecting AHK on your computer, they wouldn't be able to see what code you're running. Those people who script using AHK don't get banned for using AHK, but for what the script itself does, or manual review by Riot employees. As long as you write it yourself, or at least skim through the AHK script you'd be using, you'll be 100% fine
The second scenario is the thing I'm concerned about though; if a bot can detect it but can't tell what you're doing with it... what's one silly player who tried to "script?"
"Sorry you got banned, but nobody will ever notice you so screw you."
I mean, if that happens, I'll be pretty upset.
They can't see what code you're running, so they can't ban you for it. If you were using a hack engine or an injection program or something, that would be a different case, but they can't ban you for having an AHK script open on your computer, and as far as I know, no other game has done so either
