OFFICIAL STATEMENT: Current Supply misunderstanding on coinmarketcap's website [Message from Ivo Georgiev, founder]

Based on all the questions regarding this problem, I decided to make a thread only to clear out this question!

I asked Ivo (one of the founders of AdEx) to respond the questions about the coinmarket's circulating supply information of AdEx.

Here is his answer:

Hello users, Ivo Georgiev talking here; I would like to answer this question that's been causing a lot of confusion. Coinmarketcap wrote 40 million coins initially because data and information that was provided to them in the beginning. This information was just an estimation of the real circulating supply amount. Coinmarketcap used that while they were waiting for our update. Technically there are 100 million tokens fixed, however, coinmarketcap counts only transferrable tokens to make the total supply. Those are and were 53 million since we started!

The non-transferable tokens are the team tokens, the pre-ICO bonus tokens and the AdEx FUND tokens (which they are going to be used to sell tokens through the dApp).

More tokens are going to be made transferable after the end of the first cliff period, in (around) 40 days. These are going to be team tokens.

I suggest to please check our whitepaper, it provides most of the information about tranferable/non-transferable tokens.
