Makes sense, I'm sure Dylan weighed his chances of leadership at Canoodle in the Classics vs chances at sky + money. Sep would be their leader for sure at the monuments and Baarle would be co-leader.
I'm guessing at Sky he'll get leadership at smaller classics and support Stannard, Kwiato, and maaaybe boswell in the monuments. He has a much more likelyhood of winning a smaller race anyways.
Van Baarle is already as good or better than Stannard, kwaito and Rowe in the cobbled classics. But you usually ride these races without a single leader, but a variety of leaders, and in that Van Baarle fits in well with Sky's cobbles team.
I'd be surprised if he is back that soon, from what I heard he basically smashed his leg into tiny shards and will require multiple operations to get it back together.

Rowe will miss all of next classic season due to his broken leg.
I think he will be back racing in the spring but i don't expect anything from him next year i think even his tour road captain spot is up for grabs.

I would have hoped he would go to Lotto Jumbo, but apparently that isn't happening.
I can also see him in a role as lead-out for Halvorsen. Versatile guy, I'd be surprised if there wasn't other teams around trying to sign him.
Boswell is gone from Sky next year.
