Candles, thin walls, beds, and drawers

Silk sheets, missed calls, vacuumed wool carpets

Open, empty, searching, forgotten

Keys hanged, still clocks, slow lamps, paintings

Vases, unfilled, glass panes, buildings

Night views, dark hues, pinpricks, light flits

Diffused, far out, alien, unbothered

Soft spray, ocean wave, auto airfreshener

Crisp scent, artifice, like everything else here

Vacant, deadened, hollow, unbreathing

Stifling, starkened, cold, unfeeling
