Need some advice
Last year when I was a freshmen (fall), I rushed and pledged a frat. I ended up dropping pledging for a multitude of reasons but I think the main reason was that I just hated pledging and I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it in the end. I have other reasons but I'm pretty sure I just used those as extra excuses to drop cause I'm a spineless piece of shit.
Now, in the first semester of sophomore year, I'm starting to really regret it. I wish I hadn't dropped. I have some friends I made last year and I've got buddies from highschool here too (good friends), but I don't feel a connection to anyone. I don't feel like anyone cares that I'm here. Even when I was pledging, the brothers treated me like I was more important than I've ever been treated since. I also feel like I don't have any confidence, especially with girls, and I feel like being in a fraternity would teach me real life lessons on how to be confident.
What should I do? Is rushing in the 2nd half of my sophomore year even worth it? I honestly would rush the fraternity I dropped just because my old pledge class is all there and I love those guys, but I feel like they probably hate me for ditching them and think I'm just a loser who's crawling back to them cause I couldn't get into parties.
TL;DR dropped pledging last year, regret it, don't know if its too late to try again

Just rush dude what's the worst that will happen
I just don't know if the frat hates me for ditching them. I feel like a major piece of shit for it. I left them. They even reached out to me to try to get me to stop but me and all my fucking arrogance thought I was making the right decision.
If you have a close friend there just tell them that, if not just rush there heavy and they'll probably still like you. Most fraternities won't "hate" you unless you left them for a different one
