What should I listen to first?
-
If you like the HARD EP... Check out The Love Collection, it's fairly similar and has the same kind of hip hop influence.
-
If you like hip/hop & rap music... Check out their 2014 mixtape #000000 & #FFFFFF which features rap artists like French Montana, G-Eazy and Danny Brown. The mixtape is probably my favourite project from them as it merges hip hop and indie music together perfectly, which makes the music very unique. A lot of their other music has hip hop influences as well, including the new HARD EP and also their 2013 EP The Love Collection. Jesse (the lead singer) has also dabbled in hip hop music. He has a mixtape from 2011 entitled Truth Hurts, Truth Heals. He also featured in a hip hop track by K. Rudd entitled "Blow" in 2014.
-
If you like Sweater Weather... Check out The NBHD's more poppy/catchy tracks like R.I.P. 2 My Youth, You Get Me So High, The Beach, Cry Baby, Daddy Issues and Jealou$y.
-
If you like dark, moody music... Check out tracks like Wires, $TING, H8M4CH1N3, Wiped Out!, Ferrari or Female Robbery. You can find some darker more eerie stuff on their new EP too.
-
If you like songs that tell a story... Listen to A Little Death, 24/7, T$RL, Female Robbery or Baby Came Home.
-
If you like instrumental tracks... Try listening to Unfair or Silver from their 2014 mixtape #000000 & #FFFFFF. Or, you could also listen to the tracks they made for BBC Radio 1's rescore of the movie Drive. The band produced two instrumental tracks for the rescore entitled Pretty Boy and Shannon.
-
If you like pop... Check out Jesse's solo project The Factoury. The tracks are very much like mainstream pop (in a good way).

Upcoming NBHD Projects... (Speculation)
Zach keeps referring to the HARD EP as "EP 1", which may mean that there is a second EP coming.
It has been announced by the members than an album is coming, too.
