Well i lost 30 but still over 1k, still annoying because was a nice binary 1101 or so number before. Really suxx that they also must punish customers for the fails of others.

Ok, probably didn't play any of their crap anyway.
Also funny prior to this PSA others have noticed game count problems and supposed it's the 'Call of Duty: WWII - PC Open Beta'.
They even called for mods and stuff because they supposed adding the beta did deduct their games... ;)

Hmm that's a lot of badges that will stay unfinished again for ever because you probably also can't buy any cards to finish them anymore. All those useless crap cards starts to stack up in my inventory already. They really should either still sell the cards so we can still finish the badges or remove them from inventory and give customers those badges as a little compensation.

Dunno if they simply can let people sell the cards and keep all the profit, would probably be a legal issue.
So here two other fair solutions to clean the mess up:
- Remove all cards, boosters and unfinished badges
- Add value of them to steam wallet as compensation
or
- Remove all cards and boosters
- Grant the lvl.5 badges as compensation
The first solution will cost them a small amount of money, but that money can only be used on steam anyway. The second solution costs them nothing at all.
Both would be acceptable for me and would at least clean it up for good!

you can still finish the badges but it will cost you alot.. simply use gems to craft booster packs

Also just checked Inventory i have 10 Booster packs that Steam dropped, now all worthless.
They seriously should clean up the mess after pulling such bans, because i'm sick of useless boosters, cards and unfinished badges stacking up in inventory and badge pages.

you can just make gems out of them? don't really see the problem.

Yeah a lot of people don't even know about [Gems] (http://steamtradingcards.wikia.com/wiki/Gems). It's the fastest way to clean out these worthless penny cards.

I though gems were real just a waste comparing to selling your card for some credit. Is their a maximum amount of cents when it becomes profitable ?

What's the benefit over getting a penny for a card though? The conversion rates on gems to useful stuff seems off to me. A penny I can use toward buying new games. Gems I can only use to get more cards, right?

I can't remember how many gems it is (1000?), but you can turn them into a "sack of gems" to sell

Good! Glad Valve is cracking down on fake games. Their recent onslaught of spam was the last straw and I'm glad Valve is doing some human oversight.

Oh no! I have more than a thousand titles on my library, most of them i don't even install, but now they still there but theres a couple less on automatic count... I need these 3 or 30 games them i can say to my friends that i have more games, even some of them don't deserving to be called "games"...

Thanks of the info, indeed the game are gone from the store but they remain in my library (and I didn't lose any exp/game count, I know because I just reached 1500 games and now I have 1502 :P).
EDIT: Apparently now my profile got refreshed and I'm down to 1481 :(, RIP milestone.

I regret nearly taking games like these here when I discovered the sub. It's just trash to farm cards and "+1" really. The card money is nice but it just bloats too much my library. Now, at least, I just put them in a categories "shit".

Dunno... These guys had a shitload of alt dev accounts, now if they paid steam direct fees for all those accounts, they'l probably try and do the same shit on fresh accounts.
Until they fuck up and get kicked out again, that is.

I myself was wondering why my game count didn't go down a single game...
