Shield falling asleep in 3-5 seconds since 6.0 update
Anyone else experiencing this?
After waking it up, it will immediately hibernate again. Hard reset it and it is still doing it as well.

CEC bug. What TV do you have? Saw a couple others with issue on shield forums. Turn off cec in meantime but if you go on shield forums nvidia may be able to test a fix with you earlier than the next release.

Same thing on my end, updated to 6.0 on Friday and now it won't stop sleeping. How do I fix it?

I disabled Simlink on my tv. Not sure what it is called on others but that fixed it for me.

Can you aslo try to cast something from your phone to the built in chromecast in the Shield? See if that works. I have problems with that also.
But i manage to get the shield started up if i quickly watch a youtube video before it goes back to sleep. I hope they fix this!

Haven't had that issue. My remote will randomly go to sleep though, and I have to keep clicking the shit out of it before it wakes again. That started after updating the remote to 1.15 after the 6.0 update.
