Battery light flashing

Hey, my Acer Aspire E15 (E5-575-579C) had its battery light flashing in an orange light yesterday. I've had this happen before while gaming sometimes, and I'm told this is the sign that it is charging. Yesterday it stopped flashing after I reconnected my charger, so I assumed it was simply poorly in place.
However, my friend seems to be of the opinion the battery might be damaged. I ran the Acer Care Center's battery check and it told me my battery is fine. I've not had the flashing battery light for a day now, am I likely in the clear?
