Why are my steamvr games not showing in my oculus library?

Discussion

I am using the latest Oculus Home, and I also have the unknown sources turned on(the filter as well). However, I cannot see any steamVR games in the library except one game from steamVR which I installed before all other steamVR games. I can also see the apps I installed outside of oculus store but just not the games from steamVR except that first one.. Any idea? Thanks in advance!

The SteamVR games only appear in the Oculus library after launching them manually once via Steam.

It worked! I cannot add the steamVR icon in the oculus library tho.. Only the games themselves.

I want ot know why i cant MANUALLY assign a shortcut in Home. Im tired of Oculus' approach of 'either it all works automatically, or it doesnt work, we decide what you see at all times'.

Its well beyond the time where Oculus needs to release some organizational tools for the interface.

I also tried to reinstall the games from steamVR, and it didn't work...

Yeah I have this problem too, except opposite of yours. All of my steamvr games show up except one, and I also get a stupid problem in the game Onward where if I launch through oculus then the game wont run right or connect to servers at all.

Online games seem to have this issue. Here someone found a solution by modifying the shortcut:

Oculus Tray Tool has a feature to add the Steam games to Oculus Home.

My Oculus Home use to have a SteamVR launcher shortcut...very useful as I could access it easily. One day it was just gone. I think it was an update or something...broke something...some games show up...some don't.

It's weird.

You have to launch the from the desktop exe file I think. Not from Steam to have it added.
