Sage & Caves

I hope there's a moment  
where this all makes sense  
why I was scared of caves  
why sage smelled so good  

Cause I've had the same nightmare  
almost every night this month  
of waking up in a cave  
without a flashlight  

And I've started burning candles  
that smell almost like sage  
but nothing is like the Rocky's  
after it rains  

I hope I know before  
my life flashes  
or dims  
or ends   

Cause caves and sage mean nothing  
but I wake up to a room  
with at least 10 flashlights  
and a collection of scented candles
