I'm not panicking here or saying Tru is no good, but with the exception of the Packers game he's been a shadow of his former self so far this year. Got beat several times today and his penalty nearly cost us the game in Detroit. Is he still rusty, or does anyone see reason for concern?

He still might be being nagged by his injury or just Isn't comfortable or 100% yet but he's not playing all that bad it just seems go routes are where he's struggled
He had a bad injury that cost him a lot of the season and the playoffs. It'll take him a while to get back into form.
He's actually playing really well, he has been out of position some and he seems to not be as agile breaking on the underneath routes and his top speed seems to be lower than it was last year. Overall though he's still played really well. He's only allowed like 40 yards this year.
Edit: 69 yards. Either way that's only 23.3 yds per game. Idk what his stats were for the bills game, but Clay ws the only receiver that really killed us. He was primarily Keanu or Campbell's responsibility, not Tru's
Your reaction seems a little hyperbole. Dude was out of the game for a while, there's gonna be an adjustment period
I'm wondering if our DC is putting him in bad situations. Hard to tell on TV.
I have only seen a couple plays where he was out of position. I have seen more of him making good plays than bad ones, but yeah he ia not as good as he was before the injury
