Overhaul

Allies: The Eight Precepts of Death

---

Background

Kai Chisaki aka Overhaul is the leader of the Eight Precepts of Death and primary antagonist of the internship arc of Boku no Hero Academia. He is a remnant of a bygone age where the Yakuza of Japan used to reign supreme in the criminal underworld - a time that has passed with the rise of heroes.

Overhaul thinks of heroics, altruism, and quirks(powers) in general as a disease. He is ruthless, willing to use his allies as resources or even shields to achieve his goals to the point where he uses his own daughter as a test subject to invent a quirk-erasing weapon. Notably, he does not like to be touched.

---

Abilities

Overhaul is also the name of his primary ability which allows him to disassemble and reassemble anything he touches at will. This has a variety of uses and is naturally very versatile. He can...

• Kill a person by touching them
• Remove all physical damage from a person
• Even bring the dead back to life (provided he hasn't waited very long)
• He can also manipulate the battlefield (note the targeted character in this scan, Mirio, can phase through solid matter)
• Or fuse two people together

The quirk has drawbacks, however. He seems to have trouble controlling it, hence why he wears gloves normally and breaks out in a rash whenever he uses the ability.

---

Speed/Reflexes

• Overhaul can react to and avoid Mirio and here
• Mirio can evade gunfire
• Defeated half of Class 1-A "in the blink of an eye" and he was fast enough that his opponents thought he had a warping quirk
• and is faster than Deku's reflexes
• Overhaul can dodge Nighteye's stamps which are pretty fast

---

Durability

Overhaul can take some punishment

• From Mirio, and again, and again
• An angered Deku punch, bear in mind Deku can shatter concrete in Full cowl
• Getting bonked by Magne
• Blocking and Overhauling a stone spike from Deku

---

Miscellaneous

• Always brings backup
• His allies are willing to die for him
• Killed one of his strongest henchmen 5 times
• His allies have a strong bond under him and won't turn on each other

---

Here's a brief fight Overhaul took place in, for your viewing pleasure.

Overhaul Vs. Nighteye the latter of which is a precog.

• Note: This RT is incomplete, as of the time of this writing Overhaul is still active in the Manga and has yet to be defeated, so new feats may be added depending on how that goes.
