I realize this isn't necessarily new information, but I thought it was worth posting since it could have very real impact on the club and it's owners.
Obviously this is the more sensationalist angle with the risk of having to move money back to China, which from my understanding there is no concrete reason to expect, but it shouldn't be understated that this is an important date for the club that at worst could have very big consequences for us.
I wouldn't worry about it for now. Libero is garbage.
If you're talking about the part about having to move money back to China, then yes, we shouldn't worry about it because it's more of a worst case scenario. I've not seen any good source or reasoning for expecting that to be the reality of the situation.
However the part about expectations that restrictions on foreign investments will be announced on the 18th has been reported by the media before this. Obviously expectations may not mean that it's a done deal, but there's at least some credibility to it.
Granted, I was in some doubt if it was worth posting this due to the source and that it wasn't really new information, but I figured the seriousness of the situation wasn't necessarily well known by all Milan fans, so worth keeping an eye on.
The information seems to be legit, this is something to be really worried about.
Libero is a very right wing, xenophobic newspaper. Known for it's offensive headlines (e.g "tir a segno" after the truck attack in nice) and for spreading disinformation. Let's see if sole 24 ore picks this up before we acknowledge it
Edit: sorry the tir a segno headline was actually il tempo, libero came out with this one: https://m.facebook.com/219818371372762/photos/a.303180579703207.72378.219818371372762/1373502509337670/?type=3&source=54
"Più patate meno mimose"
The mimosa is the flower that symbolises international woman's day in italy. Patata, means potato but also means pussy. So the headline reads: more pussy, less mimosas
