[Questionnaire] About Dungeons & Dragons [Time to Get Nerdy :D][Those Minotaurs Tho!]
Just a random thought that came to mind, so why not. I like D&D quite a lot and am currently DMing a campaign I made myself, with both more and less success xD It's a lot harder than one would think, either way, on to the questions :D
Please answer in audio form, and post as a separate audio, not as a reply to this post :)
During character creation, do you always model your PC after yourself, or what's your main drive when fleshing out your PC?
Favorite race and why?
Favorite class and why?
People seem to hold very strong views on alignment, what's your take on it and which do you prefer?
- Adding to the previous question, can good and evil characters be in a party together?
What's the longest running campaign you've been in and how'd it end?
What's your take on multiclassing? Should you, or should you not?
- Adding to that, what's your take on people who multiclass in order to power game the campaign?
Dungeon clearing or investigative campaigns?
- Adding to that, do you like murderhoboing, and if so, why?
How do you prefer to roll stats? I'd say I'm fairly lenient as in I have them roll a few statblocks and they can pick the one they want from the lot.
Which version of D&D and why? :P
Any tips for new players?
What's the worst you, or someone else, has fucked over your group in a campaign?
What're qualities you really like in fellow players/DMs and what're qualities you really dislike in fellow players/DMs?
Have you ever DMed?
-
Adding on that, do you usually prepare before the campaign or not?
- If you do prepare, how much in terms of hours do you do per session?
-
Online or IRL?
-
Do you enjoy it or are you stuck in the role? :P (happens to some! (not me tho)) :D
Thoughts on using Roll20?
- Adding on that, are there some features it could improve or is simply missing?
That's all for this time :P May Sol be with you, and hopefully you don't run into too many Mind Flayers out there, they're nasty! Or Liches for that matter, they're not much fun either! Unless of course you can kick their asses!
