Why are there always 30-40 people online on this sub when there's such a lack of a playerbase happening?

Because I can read this sub from work, but I can't play the game there.

Waiting for a patch mostly, but when you're in a dead region you can't play regardless.

Right now there are 80 people online on the sub and 57 people in game worldwide, wtf.

This sub has always had a lot of people online compared to the amount of activity. I don't know why, it's weird.

Well there's people that's here waiting for a balance patch or something to happen to the game. Also you got people like me, who didn't bought the game (I refuse to buy an online game without latinoamerican servers), but are hoping it succeeds (maybe if it is successful enough, they will put latinoamerican servers... although that does look like a bit of a dim hope at the moment). And in my case as well, if it doesn't succeeds, well for me it's like looking at the history of a good game that for some reason failed. It's kinda like watching history unfold in front of you, which is the same reason why I follow closely news about north korea, cataluña in spain, brexit, and so on. It's stuff that will likely appear in history books, so it's kind of exciting to see it happen live. Same applies for this game: it will be an example of a game that almost failed but recovered, or a history of a good game that for some reason failed.

Banned him and will continue to deal with, what I am assuming is, his alts. Not sure if it is the same person, but I will handle it to the best of my ability.

You can set up automoderator to auto delete post by accounts with less than a certain amount of hours and/or karma. Many subreddits do this and I think it can be effective in filtering out all the troll.

Huh? No, the guy is impersonating another user, which is warrant for a ban. That isn't OK anywhere on Reddit. There are two accounts there. The "people waiting for boss league i imagine" is the impersonation account.
