Everything was great but not for her
:')
we should start a support group

I'll make one for all three dudes I've met off online dating:
Everything was great but he ghosted after three months together
Everything was great but the sex was terrible
Everything was great but he got shipped the night before our second date, just as I was developing feels a crush
[deleted]
Should change it to 'crush'...I was excited to see him and thought he was really cute and nice

I had something like that happen. It bites.
Everything was great but the sex was terrible
come to the nyc meetup and the latter will be fixed
That's what I keep hearing
Will confirm. Went to the NYC meetup last year and had absolutely great terrible sex making out in a cab.
Wow.......I can't wait.................im so excited .......................
Everything was great, but he hasn't texted me since Sunday so obviously he hates me.
I'm not crazy, you're crazy.
Ugh, infrequent texters. Are they seriously trying to pretend they don't check their phone at least once a day?
...He has a really good excuse in that he is legit in the wilderness for 8 day spans therapizing privileged mid-20s in an intensive program.
He's much more responsive when he's off.
It really is just me being cray.
... she left me and didn't come back
I told you to tie a bell around her neck!
broken image
Look again, are you sure it's not the color of her hair?
no she was a fake redhead on the outside...
but a real one on the inside
Most recent relationship.
Everything was great but he was asexual.
I'm talking to someone who identifies as asexual but whose virginity I took during a drunk wedding hookup and who texts me daily to flirt. It is very confusing.
I can see that. Maybe he flirts for fun but only feels like sex very rarely in certain circumstances and has no interest in seeking it out? Either way, it's an odd situation for sure.
Sexuality is weird, man.
In fairness when I thought I was asexual I still flirted and boned.
Yeah, I guess I'm just nervous because he's a close friend of my close friend's fiance. So, (A) I don't want to make him uncomfortable and (B) I can't tell how serious he is about some of the stuff he says to me and consequently how to appropriately respond to it.
That seems like information you would want to know beforehand
It was really my bad for ignoring that. I never asked and they never overtly said anything. (I still don't know if that's what it was or not to this day) Before we even started dating he never once mentioned anything sexual or flirtatious but still kissed and cuddled so I thought he was just being respectful. I got really insecure because i thought he wasn't attracted to me but never once saw him look at another woman with any interest or make sexual comments. Looking back he never really seemed like a sexual person at all. Either way, still sucks because other than that he was a great boyfriend to me.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Hmmmm. I'm no scientist but the math checks out.
Last bad date was tots my fault, I got sucker punched by a question that brought up some rough memories from when I was in the military and it knocked me off kilter. Had trouble bouncing back and everything went south.
Well, I guess that's not really my fault, but it was an innocent question (not one of those, "Ever kill someone?" or "What's the worst thing you've ever seen?" something more tangently related she couldn't have foreseen) so I don't blame her, but a shitty night is still a shitty night.

Everything was fine but also I didn't really like her that much and was just going through the motions because why not
:-(
She invited me over late one night, but my hip pain was acting up and we layed in bed and fell asleep.
That sounds nice!
she called the next day to ask what was wrong. I think she wanted to get laid that night.
Oh, you guys didn't discuss it? Yeah I could see that being a bad thing then. Communicate, and don't worry about it. It's not like guys get sex every night they want it either.
Everything was great but not me.
Most recent is working out, so I'll go one back.
Everything was great, but she had massive trust issues and I refuse to wear someone else's mistakes around my neck.
She was great but...
...she believed in strict gender roles and lied a lot on her profile
Even the heavy liberals seem to be super traditional here. It's like equal relationship are out of the question. You guys should be happy you have a lot of choices out there in the US!
Nah, when it comes to dating so many liberal girls still subscribe to traditional gender roles in America. It seems like the one exception most people make.

Everything was great but the butt.
She cancelled on me a whole bunch leading up to the date, the last cancellation was the last straw for me. I went on the date in case there was anything there but at that point I was frustrated with their frequent flaking. Plus they smoked, weren't that smart, didn't have any of my interests and were incredibly lazy from what I'd learned about them.
Everything was great, but everything
Everything was great, but on the day of the date she was expecting someone other than this smouldering dumpster fire.
Everything was great, but I wasn't queer enough for her tastes.
Everything was great but some other dude was better
