LawBreakers should copy SMITE's F2P/Purchase Model
SMITE is F2P. Gods(roles) are locked behind paywall. However you can pay 20.99 to unlock all current and FUTURE Gods. Essentially like you bought the full game. This allows BKP to open the gates to all people and still sell the game and make money.

Sounds really awful for balance.
Why do you have to balance around it?
The game needs everyone having access to all characters, that's why. Man you guys really think the devs and Nexon haven't went over all this shit internally?
What's the point in everybody having access to all characters if everybody is nobody.
You assume your idea would save the game and bring a bunch of players in. We have seen even when the game is free there isn't many players. The game also just doesn't have enough characters for that style of f2p.
I wouldn't really look at the company that changed from f2p to this price and business model as great minds on the execution of such things, this games biggest downfall is the negative PR from the companies overconfidence in models that don't fit. They went this route because they saw those OW 'dolla dolla billz', not because they didn't think the application other games have executed well enough can't work.
Paladins/Smite/LoL and many other games have a much higher benefit to having access to all the characters. Out of all the character based shooters I play I would say that Lawbreakers is probably the least important due to lack of hard counters or strict class compositions (casual with these numbers is basically just a fragfest with different loadouts). So if people can enjoy those games casually when they require far more composition effort than LB at a base level, there is no excuse for LB to not switch over to such a free model.
Lock people out of competitive unless they have a certain amount sure... But casual players wouldn't really be worse off if using the Quake Champions rental model.

I mean SMITE has been going strong for 3+ years. At this point BossKey should use a "whats to lose" approach lol.
