Is GRS possibly threatened by Bitcoin Gold?

Hello - Possibly a noob question, so I apologize in advance. I understand GRS offer a wider range features other than ASIC resistance, but as this is one of its main selling points (An of course multipool resistance) do you feel the new Bitcoin gold fork could come as a threat to GRS?

Given they are achieve a similar goal. Granted with a copious amounts more power usage.

What are your thoughts?
