This is a 96 Integra. Anyone know what part the red arrow is pointing? I realize this part was damage and was wondering if it needs to be replaced or not without future problems. I figure it is some sort of a reservoir of the air intake to the engine.

What does the pipe run into? Looks to be part of an intake system. I know some vehicles have a intake tube prior to the filter thats not adjacent with the intake going to the MAF, that's closed off at the end. Similar to this.
It runs into the engine, so yes it does look like it is a part of the intake system.
It just look like a factory cold air intake
Its the resonator for the intake.
