[Discussion] What ideas do you have that could potentially make 2k games in the future be so much more enjoyable?
I've always wondered how a sports game (particularly 2k) would be if they just used "real money" instead of virtual currency. What if you got paid the amount a player would get paid for playing in an NBA game? What if you actually got millions for signing a contract with a team or sponsor? 2k could implement ways to buy your own apartment that you could customize. You could buy clothes, shoes, jewelry, and tattoos for their actual cost. Now I know they would never do this because they wouldn't be able to implement micro transactions easily but it would just make the game experience so much more enjoyable if I actually got something for my hard work and felt invested in something instead of grinding for VC. Just a thought. Anyways, what have all of you wanted to see in 2k games?

go fucking play gta 5. fucksake. assholes like you are the reason this game is going further away from basketball. and becoming a shitshow thats not open world. not mmorpg but acts and charges like it with micro transaction and grinding.
if they spend alll their budget on actually developing a flawless gameplay. that would be the most enjoyable thing but no they will hire actors for cutscenes and work on other bullshit like you listed.
Unfortunately, I don't think 2k will ever just be about basketball again. I'd rather they spend the majority of the time on the basketball gameplay as well. Even without any extra customizations outside of playing basketball (like the apartment idea and all that), they could at the very least, give people who don't want to play online (like me) an option to earn money and grow quickly without grinding for hours on end. Valid points by you though.
