I just came across this after I cancelled my membership through the automatic iTunes renewal and noticed it was $3 more than just using the Crunchyroll store to pay beware guys and save yourselves some money

That’s odd. Did the membership go up? Or there are different tiers. I thought I was paying $6.99? Lol
EDIT: My membership is $6.99. Not sure why yours says $9.99 lol
EDIT2: If you buy through Crunchyroll it’s $6.95 I think, iTunes is $6.99. Though, I’m not sure why your membership is $9.99.
Are you American? That could be why I'm from Canada we pay a lot more for stuff cause currency exchange
Yes I’m American. That’d explain why the price difference. From my personal opinion and seeing other issues with payments here, the easiest way is to just do the subscription through the App Store. Lots of people have been having issues with the website.
I couldn’t even do the subscription on the website. It was not letting me. Went and did the subscription through iOS and got it right away. So much easier and easier to cancel. Also, more secure in my opinion.
If only I could spell titles correctly while on my phone.

Yes, iTunes does not allow us to set different prices in different regions. All prices outside of the US are automatically converted from the USD price and then rounded up to .99 by iTunes.
That's brutal man I'd rather just sub through the site and give Crunchyroll the money directly
That works as well. You don't need to buy your premium through iTunes in order to use it on Apple devices.
