r/spaxex is stating NET December 2017 for FH Demo Flight, but the Lounge predicts it NET 2018

Why is there a difference? Which is the last info?

r/SpaceX mods have chosen to quote the official (but unrealistic) information.
We(Lounge Mods) have chosen to state the realistic (though currently unofficial) information.

Thanks. BTW: Could you help me correcting the missap in the title? I can't find a way to do it

No can do, sorry! Reddit doesn't let anyone(except admins) modify titles.

NET December is the last official estimate we've had, and we also expect the mods to LC-39A to take less time than before since they've already done quite a lot of it already. However, between everything going smoothly and a few static fire tests, it's unlikely we'll see FH fly this year.

December is possible if EVERYTHING goes perfect from here on out. Chances are though they will want to do a full up hold down static fire at least a couple of times on the pad. Due to the size of the rocket, they have been unable to test all 3 cores firing simultaneously yet, and they will want to be pretty confident about it before letting it launch.

Not totally sure. If it's going to have a symbolic cargo what's the difference? You are risking the pad anyway without any real benefit.

It has to do with the engine ignition sequence from what Musk has said. Its lighting 27 engines on the same vehicle and putting vibrational stresses on the vehicle that have never happened before.
