See, part of the charm of Polandball is that no nation goes uncriticized. However, this comic is just Russia being better than everybody. There's not even a hint of irony. It's not really funny. It's just annoying patriotism.
The irony lies in the nationalism itself. I mean the last comic strip shows just how stupid it is.
"muh Nationalism" grow some balls liberal
I’d call it nationalism rather than patriotism. Patriotism usually isn’t bad, while nationalism has more of a tendency to lead towards distastefulness.

those faces made me feel unconfortable, especially the russian ball in the second pic.

^^^^Because ^^^^I ^^^^don't
I love how they try and make Russia seem great even though that same country just tortured and killed a pop star on suspicion for being gay

That's actually kinda funny.
In the way it was intended to be, I don't think so. But on some weird absurdist level, the broken English combined with the weird visuals makes it so strange it's funny.
Wait, now I realize why it's funny. If you made the visuals worse, you could transcribe this word-for-word into a Polandball comic.
Russia can't into good Polandball ripoff.
The speech bubbles look edited, because they are. The original is written in cyrillics.
What about the last one though, with the "Roar"? Is that one edited too?
I have no idea. I found them already translated.
Personally, I find that one hilarious, because it's so completely nonsensical :D
Well it's obviously related to the ones above. The artist has some fetish with tigers apparently.
